Day 1: Cairo – Arrival
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport. You will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel.Overnight in Cairo.
Day 2: Cairo Pyramids, Memphis and Sakkara
Breakfast at your hotel. A full day tour starting with a visit to Memphis, served as capital of upper and lower Egypt some 5,000 years ago during the First Dynasty. Menes, the first pharaoh of this dynasty, built a great, white-walled palace and the Temple of Ptah here. The step pyramid of King Zoser in Sakkara.Continue to Giza to see the three great pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinos and their guardian Sphinx, which dates from the time of Chefren. 65 feet high and 187 feet long statue combines the head of a Pharaoh with a lion’s body. Back to your hotel after the tour and overnight. (B)
Day 3: Cairo – Egyptian Museum, Citadel and Bazaar
Breakfast at your hotel. Then your guide will take you on a tour to visit the Egyptian Museum, housing 165,000 Egyptian artifacts. Continue to the Citadel of Salah el-Din and admire the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali Pasha. Then head to the Khan El Khalili Bazaar. With numerous shops in this district are known for trading fine brassware, copper, perfumes, leather, silver, gold, antiques and much more. Overnight at your hotel in Cairo. (B)
Day 4: Cairo – Luxor – Nile Cruise
Morning transfer to Cairo Airport to catch a short flight to Luxor. Upon arrival in Luxor you will be met and transferred to board your Nile Cruise before lunch. Afternoon visits to the Temple of Karnak and the Temple of Luxor on the East Bank. Enjoy afternoon tea and stay overnight on board in Luxor. Dinner on board. Overnight in Luxor. (B,L&D)
Day 5: Edfu- Kom Ombo -Aswan
After breakfast visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu. Lunch on board while sailing to Kom Ombo where you will tour the Temple dedicated to two Gods Sobek and Haroeris. Continue sailing to Aswan and overnight on board. Enjoy dinner and oriental Galabaya party tonight. (B,L&D)
Day 6: Aswan
After breakfast visit the Temple of Philae, the High Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk. In the late afternoon enjoy a sailing on a Felucca boat on the Nile around Kitchener Island. In the evening there will be a Nubian Show (or a Belly Dance Show) aboard your cruise ship. (B,L&D)
Day 7: Aswan- Nubian Village – Aswan
Disembarkation after breakfast. Then join your guide in a visit of the Nubian Museum in Aswan. It displays thousands of antiquities that would have been lost under the waters of Lake Nasser. Continue on for a tour to the Nubian Village. Enjoy an amazing Felucca Ride to the Nubian Village. Nubians are the ancient tribes who inhabited this part of Aswan. Discover the Nubian Villages and the simple life of the very kind and hospitable Nubian people. Return to your hotel in Aswan and overnight. (B)
Day 8: Aswan – Cairo
In the morning, transfer to Aswan Airport to catch your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival at Cairo Airport, our representative will meet and transfer you to your hotel in Cairo. Remainder of the day is free at leisure. Overnight in Cairo. (B)
Day 9: Cairo- Alexandria (Full Day)
Morning pick up from your hotel. Venture to the Pearl of Alexander, the famous and beautiful city of Alexandria for a full day with a guide. See the Catacombs, Pompeys Pillar, Roman Theater, Alexandria Library and the Montazah Gardens. Lunch included. Return to Cairo, located 135 miles south from Alexandria. (B&L)
Day 10: Cairo – Return
Breakfast at your hotel. Then you will be transferred to Cairo Airport to board your return flight home. (B)
