Day 1: Rio de Janiero – Arrival – Corcovado
Upon arrival to Rio de Janeiro Airport, you are met by your guide and taken on a tour to Corcovado Mountain for a breathtaking view of the city. You will take the cog train up the mountain and have an up close look of the iconic statue of Christ the Redeemer.
Day 2: Rio de Janeiro – City Tour & Sugarloaf
Breakfast at your hotel. After a morning at leisure, enjoy a panoramic tour of Rio, visiting the highlights of the city and exploring its colonial history. Ascend Sugarloaf Mountain by cable car. In the evening, enoy a Brazilian barbeque dinner and evening Samba show.
Day 3: Rio de Janiero – Iguassu Falls
After breakfast at your hotel, you are transferred to the airport to board your flight to Iguassu. Upon arrival, enjoy a private walking tour of the Brazilian side to various lookouts to view the falls. At the end of your tour an elevator provides speedy access to a viewing platform at the foot of the falls. Consider an optional tour of the Iguassu National Park in the afternoon.
Day 4: Iguassu Falls – Buenos Aires
Breakfast at your hotel. Visit Iguassu from the Argentine side for a more extensive experience of the falls and surrounding rainforest. Cross Tancredo Neves Bridge over the river which forms the border between Brazil and Argentina. The highlight of this trip is a visit to the suspended platform at the very edge of the Devil’s Throat – largest of the waterfalls.
Day 5: Buenos Aires – City Tour
Breakfast at your hotel. Enjoy a morning tour of the elegant districts of Buenos Aires. Continue to the colorful Boca district and the Avenida de Mayo before completing your tour at the historical Recoleta Cemetery, where Eva Peron is buried. Return to your hotel for an afternoon at leisure. In the evening, enjoy a Tango Show with Dinner.
Day 6: Buenos Aires – Free Day
Breakfast at your hotel. Today you are at leisure to continue exploring Buenos Aires on your own.
Day 7: Buenos Aires – Departure
Breakfast at your hotel and morning at leisure. After check-out, you are transferred to the airport to board your return flight home.
