Day 1: Arrival – Malaga
Arrive in Malaga and enjoy some free time to relax and get acclimated to the city.
Day 2: Torremolinos
The morning is at leisure to explore sunny Torremolinos. In the afternoon, meet our local English-speaking guide for a three-hour panoramic tour of historic Torremolinos and city highlights. The tour will include minivans with lift (or multiple minivans depending on group size). During the tour, we’ll take a group picture on a charming market street for everyone to enjoy.
Day 3: Seville
This morning, depart for Seville, the capital of Andalucía. The city has managed to maintain its traditions without turning its back on modernity. Famous as the birthplace of flamenco dancing, this historic city offers endless charms in its orange tree-filled plazas. Our guided walking tour includes visits to the stunning Seville cathedral and Giralda bell tower. Stop at local restaurant for lunch with Andalucian flavor and enjoy a river cruise before we return to the hotel.
Day 4: Malaga
Morning is at leisure. We will meet our guide in the afternoon and depart for Malaga. Looking out over the Mediterranean, the birthplace of Picasso enjoys an exceptional climate year-round. Located at the mouth of the River Guadalmedina, the “capital” of the Costa del Sol is dominated by Mount Gibralfaro, with its 14th century castle at the top. After a panoramic drive of Malaga, we stop at Parador Gibralfaro to enjoy the magnificent view and afternoon tea.
Day 5: Rondo & Marbella
Depart for Ronda this morning. The heart of the old Moorish town of Ronda is a delightful labyrinth of picturesque little streets peppered with museums. We will stop by the Palacio de Mondragón and 18th century Casa del Rey Moro as well as the San Sebastián Minaret of the 14th century Nasrid mosque. Then we continue to Marbella to enjoy the picturesque old quarter, full of traditional Andalucian charm, the peaceful promenade with inviting coffee shops and boutiques. Return to our hotel late afternoon.
Day 6: Torremolinos & Farewell
Day at leisure to discover lovely Torremolinos and its sun-kissed shores. In the evening, enjoy a flamenco show and farewell dinner.
Day 7: Departure
Say adios to Spain and transfer to the airport for the flight home.
