Walk the beaches of Normandy, pay your respects at the cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer, and learn more about the history of France during the war. Day 1: Paris – Arrival
Greeted on arrival in Paris. Enjoy Paris with a panoramic drive of Champs Elysee and Arc de Triomphe, stop at the gigantic iron Eiffel Tower, the best-known monument in the world and a visit of Notre Dame Cathedral. Welcome dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Paris.
Day 2: Paris and 2nd World War
After breakfast we will meet our expert professor for a lecture of “France During 2nd World War.” Afterwards we will start our sightseeing of Le Mont Valérien; a fortress located in western Paris suburb, overlooking the Bois de Boulogne. This fortress was used by the Nazi occupiers as a prison and place of executions, where many Resistance fighters and hostages were brought in and then all killed in a clearing. Bobigny Station; from 1943 to 1944, the station was the place of departure for Jewish to their last days of their lives. Jewish were deported from France to Auschwitz-Birkenau. Many were executed as soon as they landed. It is now open to public and hosts an exhibition. The Mémorial of Shoah in 2005 in Le Marais. Overnight in Paris.
Day 3: Giverny – Caen
Departure for Giverny to explore the art of painting by the impressionist painter Claude Monet worked here until his death. We visit the gardens, Monet’s house and The Museum of Impressionism. Continue to Caen. Visit the 2nd World War memorial. After check in at hotel. Overnight in Caen.
Day 4: Salute to Our World War II Heroes
On June 6th 1944 and during the long summer which followed, men from the world over came to fight in Normandy to re-establish Freedom. Normandy will bear the scars of this moment in history forever. Visit places imbued with the core values of Reconciliation, Peace and Freedom.

Day 5: Salute to Our World War II Heroes
Continue our Normandy D Day sites visit with OMAHA BEACH: Overlord Museum at Colleville-sur-Mer, Omaha Memorial Museum at Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer, Statue les Braves, The Pointe du Hoc at Cricqueville-en-Bessin, wreath ceremony at the US cemetery as we will share common emotions at places where memory lives on. Overnight in Caen.
Day 6: Mont St-Michel
From Benedictine Monastery to a political prison, Mont Saint Michel and its Abbey is one of the France’s most visited sites. We will visit the West Terrace, Abbey church, Cloisters and Refectory. After a little time to relax in Grande Rue or walk pilgrims’ route we arrive at our hotel. Overnight in Caen.
Day 7: Versailles – Paris
Depart to Versailles, a symbol of classical perfection, the largest palace in the world and emblem of absolute power from the time of Louis XIV to Louis XVI. The Versailles Palace walking tour includes the Palace of Versailles and Gardens, the King and Queen’s Apartments, and more. Return to Paris for a farewell dinner and overnight.
Day 8: Paris – Return
Breakfast. Transfer to Paris for the flight back to USA.
