Itinerary
DAY 1: CAIRO-ARRIVAL
You are greeted upon arrival and transferred to your hotel.
DAY 2: CAIRO
Visit the 200-foot-high step Pyramid of Sakkara, the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinos, and their guardian Sphinx. (B)
DAY 3: CAIRO
Tour the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. Enjoy an optional tour of the Citadel of Saladdin, the Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali and the fascinating Khan El Khalili Bazaar. (B)
DAY 4: CAIRO-LUXOR-NILE CRUISE
You will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Luxor. Lunch aboard the Nile River cruise. Visit the Temple of Karnak and the Temple of Luxor on the East Bank. Overnight on board. (B,L&D)
DAY 5: NILE CRUISE-LUXOR/ESNA
Tour the vast burial city on the Nile’s West Bank including Colossi of Memnon, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and Valley of the Kings. Enjoy dinner and the Galabya party. (B,L&D)
DAY 6: NILE CRUISE-ESNA/EDFU/KOM OMBO
Continue to Edfu to visit the Temple of Horus. Cruise to Kom Ombo to tour the Temple. Dinner and Nubian show. (B,L&D)
DAY 7: NILE CRUISE-KOM OMBO/ASWAN
Your tour in Aswan includes the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk and the Temple of Philae. Tour by Felucca (local sailing craft) to Elephantine Island. Dinner and belly-dancing show. (B,L&D)
DAY 8: NILE CRUISE-ASWAN-CAIRO
After disembarkation, you will be transferred to the airport for a flight to Cairo. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel. (B)
DAY 9: CAIRO-RETURN
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for you return flight home. (B)
