Discover charming Bled, nestled amidst the Julian Alps on the shores of picturesque Lake Bled, and explore the cosmopolitan Slovenian capital Ljubljana before returning to Croatia to see its beautiful capital, Zagreb.
Day 1: Dubrovnik – Arrival Upon arrival to Dubrovnik Airport, you are met by our local representative and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy a welcome dinner at your hotel and overnight.
Day 2: Dubrovnik Enjoy a walking tour of Old Dubrovnik including the Rector’s Palace, Bell Tower Clock, Orlando’s Column and the Sponza Palace. You will also see the Dominican and Franciscan Monastery. Afternoon is at leisure.
Day 3: Dubrovnik – Split Travel north along the spectacular Adriatic coast to Split. Enjoy a city tour including Palace of Roman Emperor Diocletain. You will see the remnants of Split ’s Roman heritage. Jupiter’s Temple, the Peristyle and the Cathedral.
Day 4: Split – Trogir – Plitvice Lakes Depart for Trogir, the center of artistic activities. Scholars from around the world gather to study and paint here. Continue to Plitvice Lakes National Park for a walking tour. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of this natural wonder of 16 terraced lakes surrounded by wooden mountains.
Day 5: Plitvice – Opatija – Postojna – Bled Travel along the beautiful bay of Kvarner to the popular resort of Opatija. Proceed north to Postojna, home to one of the largest caves in Europe. Tour this fantastic subterranean world by miniature electric train. Then continue to Bled, beautifully set amidst the Julian Alps.
Day 6: Bled Enjoy a sightseeing tour of the charming town of Bled and its imposing castle perched on a cliff high above the lake. The remainder of the day is at leisure
Day 7: Bled – Ljubljana – Zagreb Today enjoy a walking tour of Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. Visit the picturesque Central open-air Market and the Three Bridges, the Baroque Town Hall and Robba’s Fountain. Then continue to Zagreb, the capital city of Croatia.
Day 8: Zagreb Enjoy a morning city tour featuring the historic Upper Town, St. Mark’s Church, St. Catherine’s Church, the Cathedral, the Parliament and the Government Palace. The remainder of the day is at leisure.
Day 9: Zagreb – Departure After breakfast at your hotel, you are transferred to the airport to board your return flight home.
