Day 1: Paris – Arrival
Upon arrival to Charles de Gaulle International Airport, you are met by our local representative and transferred to your hotel in the city center. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Enjoy a welcome dinner at your hotel and overnight.
Day 2: Paris – Historical Tour
After breakfast at your hotel, enjoy a guided tour of historic Paris. First, admire Vendome Square and the Old Opera house and see Le Louvre, the Hotel de Ville (City Hall), Bastille Square, Rue Saint-Antoine, the Marais District, the Latin Quarter, the Sorbonne, the College de France, the Pantheon, Luxemburg Gardens (Senate), and Saint-Germain des Pres. Visit Notre-Dame Cathedral with a short cruise to reach and leave the Cite Island. Return to your hotel in the early afternoon. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Overnight at your hotel in Paris.
Day 3: Paris – Versailles
Breakfast at your hotel. Depart Paris on a 40-minute journey through the west of Paris to Versailles. Enjoy a guided visit of the interior, including the State Apartments with the Hall of Mirrors, and visit the palace gardens. Return to Paris in the afternoon. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Overnight at your hotel in Paris.
Day 4: Paris – Giverny – Caen
After breakfast at your hotel, depart Paris for Caen, Normandy. En route, visit Claude Monet’s home and studio in the village of Giverny. Continue to Caen for dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 5: Caen – Landing Beaches of Normandy
Breakfast at your hotel. Visit the Memorial of Caen. After lunch, continue to the Landing Beaches. Stop at Pointe du Hoc and the American Cemetery St. Laurent at Omaha Beach. Stop at Arromanches and continue via Gold, Juno and Sword beaches. Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Caen.
Day 6: Caen – Bayeux & Mont St. Michel
Breakfast at your hotel. Visit the historic center of Bayeux and see the Bayeux tapestry which chronicles the Norman conquest of England. Continue to Mont St. Michel for a visit of the island commune and its Abbey. Return to your hotel in Caen for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 7: Caen – Amboise – Tours
After breakfast at your hotel, depart for Tours in the Loire Valley region. En route, stop in the city of Amboise and visit Chateau d’Amboise and the Clos Luce Mansion where Leonardo Da Vinci spent his final years. Continue to Tours and visit to the Cathedral of Saint Gatien. Overnight at your hotel in Tours.
Day 8: Tours – Chambord & Chenonceau
After breakfast, visit the beautiful Loire Valley castles of Chambord and Chenonceau. In the evening, enjoy dinner at a cave restaurant typical of the region with local wines included. Overnight at your hotel in Tours.
Day 9: Tours – Chartres – Paris
After breakfast at your hotel, return to Paris. En route, stop in Chartres and visit the gothic cathedral, regarded as the finest in France. Continue to Paris and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. In the evening, you are transferred to the foot of the Eiffel Tower to board a dinner cruise along the Seine River. After your cruise, you are returned to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 10: Paris – Departure
After breakfast at your hotel, you are transferred to the airport to board your return flight home.
