Walk the bustling streets of Athens, marvel at the awe-inspiring monasteries of Meteora, stand atop the mysterious site of Delphi, and see the birthplace of the ancient Olympic games, all while enjoying the unique and joyful culture of the Greek people.
Itinerary
DAY 1: ATHENS-ARRIVAL
Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy a free day to explore this city that never sleeps.
DAY 2: ATHENS
Enjoy a morning city tour of Athens. You will visit the famed Acropolis followed by a drive through the most important highlights of this city. This afternoon, enjoy a complimentary half-day Sounion tour.
DAY 3: ATHENS-NAFPLION-OLYMPIA
Depart Athens this morning and drive through the Corinth Canal for a visit to Mycenae and the Epidaurus theater. After a short stop in the town of Nafplion, you will reach Olympia, home of the ancient Olympic games.
DAY 4: OLYMPIA-DELPHI
After a morning visit in Olympia, you will continue from Rion to Antirion via the famous suspension bridge, considered to be the longest and most modern in Europe. Arrive in Delphi for dinner and overnight.
DAY 5: DELPHI-METEORA
Enjoy a morning visit to the spectacular Delphi site and its museum. In the afternoon, drive through mainland Greece to Kalambaka, the village closest to Meteora, for dinner and overnight.
DAY 6: METEORA-ATHENS
This morning you will visit the famous Byzantine monasteries, a unique site with breathtaking views. Return to Athens in the late afternoon.
DAY 7: ATHENS-RETURN
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your next destination.
